THE START OF THE STORY- BARTON ST, GLOUCESTER

Blushes opens in Barton Street with six chairs and few staff. Before long a reputation for quality grew and blushes couldn't keep up with demand. The brothers decided it was time to grow the business.

JULY 1987

WESTGATE ST SALON, GLOUCESTER

With a bigger salon the commitment was to provide excellent customer service. The new building provided the company with room to grow. In a short time it became apparent that blushes was not just another salon - but THE salon to be seen at. In 1994 the ‘Blushes team won the L’Oreal Colour Trophy with their look ‘ THE GRADUATED BLONDE’.

AUGUST 1997

MONTPELLIER WALK SALON, CHELTENHAM

Blushes have gone from strength to strength and the brothers decided to open their 2nd salon in Montpellier Walk, Cheltenham. In October, 2002, Blushes took the opportunity to buy a second site in Montpellier Walk just a few doors away, which was double the size and offered the potential of providing the ultimate salon experience, offering high levels of service and excellent customer care.

MARCH 2006

WESTGATE ST SALON, GLOUCESTER

Blushes acquires the adjoining premises and expands the Westgate Street salon. It is a massive investment, doubling the size of the salon. It offers the ultimate salon experience in the Gloucester area.

MARCH 2010

THE FORUM, CIRENCESTER

Following appeals from customers, Blushes opens its third salon at The Forum in Cirencester. The company invested £150,000 to create a large modern salon in the heart of the town.

THE TRAINING ACADEMY

Blushes prides itself on its highly-trained and qualified staff, many who are home-grown. The company creates its own training academy at Westgate Street to ensure blushes apprentices are the best in the region. By bringing the training inhouse blushes can guarantee all its team are trained to the highest standard.
