Blushes have become one of England's leading premier salons in the South West area, constantly recognised for their contribution to the hair and fashion industry, producing award winning work and for creating a salon experience that has raised the benchmark for the British hairdressing industry.

SEPTEMBER 1983
THE START OF THE STORY- BARTON ST, GLOUCESTER
Blushes opens in Barton St with 6 chairs and very few staff. Before long a reputation for quality grew with too many clients and not enough chairs prompting the decision to grow the business.

JULY 1987
WESTGATE ST SALON, GLOUCESTER
With a much bigger salon the commitment was to provide excellent customer service back in those days even when it wasn’t popular. The bigger building gave the capabilities of growing the business and in a very short time it became apparent that Blushes was not just another salon and quickly became the Salon to be seen at. In 1994 the ‘Blushes Team’ won the L’Oreal Colour Trophy with their look ‘ THE GRADUATED BLONDE’.

AUGUST 1997
MONTPELLIER WALK SALON, CHELTENHAM
From those early days Blushes have gone from strength to strength, prompting the decision to open their 2nd salon in Montpellier Walk, Cheltenham. In October, 2002, Blushes took the opportunity to buy a second site on Montpellier Walk just a few doors away from the previous one, which was double the size and offered the potential of providing the ultimate salon experience, offering high levels of service and excellent customer care.
