Blushes recently held a photoshoot to celebrate our Face of Gloucestershire 2008 winners, Lauren McDonnell & Warren Phillips.

Client Appreciation Evening December 2007
We recently held our Client Appreciation Evening once again at our Cheltenham Salon as a huge thankyou to our Clients for their continued loyalty & custom throughout the year.
This was our chance to share with everyone upcoming trends in fashion & make-up, along with fantastic Christmas gift ideas from Gusto, Neal’s Yard, Armed & Gorgeous & Jilly's Lingerie. Michelle Blake was on hand to give inspiration & fashion advice with a fashion show promoting clothing by Jigsaw & Karen Millen. A series of hair extension demonstrations were carried out throughout the evening also.
Champagne, wines and canapés were enjoyed by all and there were also some unique raffle prizes to be won on the night. In addition, all of the proceeds from the raffle were donated to the National Star College in Cheltenham, in which £500 was raised for our dedicated charity of the evening.

Rachel Brown of Cheltenham’s Blushes salon is one of the six finalists for the Wales and South West Hairdresser of the Year Award at the 2006 British Hairdressing Awards.
The British Hairdressing Awards, launched in 1985 by Hairdressers Journal International and sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, have celebrated and rewarded the best of British hairdressing creativity for the past 22 years and have fast become the ‘Oscars’ of the hairdressing world.
Rachel Brown will have to wait until Monday 27th November 2006, to find out if she will be awarded the title of Wales and South West Hairdresser of the Year, when she attends a glittering awards ceremony, hosted by a leading television personality, at the Grosvenor House Hotel London, when the winners of the fifteen specialist and regional categories, along with the prestigious British Hairdresser of the Year Award, will be announced. |

Michelle hits Cannes! - July 2005
We are proud to be able to report to you that Michelle Blake was recently asked to launch her brand new concepts at the Cannes Film Festival Hall to L’Oréal International. It continues to be Michelle’s responsibility of pushing the boundaries of colour knowledge forward for L’Oréal International.
Michelle presented to an audience of 4000 people from all over the world and her presentation was translated to the audience by over 20 translators.

Blushes were honoured to be asked to style the hair recently for Gianfranco Ferre's 2005 Autumn Winter Collection. Internationally celebrated Italian fashion designer Gianfranco Ferré showed, for the first time in the UK, highlights from his extensive archive and 2005 Autumn Winter collection in a series of catwalk shows at the V&A, which is part of the popular Fashion in Motion series in the beautiful Raphael Gallery.
