Make-up evening at Cheltenham Blushes
More than 25 women enjoyed nibbles, Pimms and make-up tips during a cosmetic demonstration evening at the Cheltenham Blushes salon.
A professional make-up artist revealed the secrets of her trade to the women as she demonstrated the new cid range.
Blushes client Glen Hayward enjoyed a makeover as part of the event.

Anna, who works at Brasserie Blanc in Cheltenham, and Joanne, who works at Blushes Gloucester, have called their challenge Three Peaks With a Twist
They will scale Scafell Pike in September this year, Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2011 and Mount Everest base camp in May 2011.
Proceeds from their challenge will be divided between the National Star Colllege, Winston's Wish and the World Land Trust.

Blushes sponsors Cotswold Midnight Walk
Blushes hair salons are sponsoring the Cotswold Midnight Walk by providing hundreds of women with goody bags on the night.
Last week 1,000 ladies took part in the first walk in Cirencester to raise vital funds for Cotswold Care Hospice. Now the charity is gearing up for its second women-only walk on Friday September 3 in Gloucester. Blushes, which has salons in Cirencester, Cheltenham and Gloucester, is sponsoring the rucksacks the women receive on the night.

“We are proud to be part of the Cotswold Midnight Walk,” said Darrell Blake, who co-owns Blushes with brother Mark. “As a Gloucestershire business, we consider it so important to put something back into the community which has supported us for more than 25 years.
“Cotswold Care provides such an important service and receives less than 10 per cent of its funding from the Government. As the walk is for women and the majority of our clients are women it seemed the perfect fit.”
Peter Rowbottom, head of fundraising at Cotswold Care, said: “We want to thank Blushes for their support. Thanks to them, we can raise even more vital funding that will go directly to helping those people who need us most.”
The 10-mile walk will start and finish at the University of Gloucestershire’s Oxstalls campus.
