ANNOUNCING: BLUSHES TETBURY
We’ve kept it under wraps, but we’re super excited to announce The Blushes Collective having acquired its seventh location in Tetbury.
On the back of a successful - albeit challenging - few years seeing The Blushes Collective add Cirencester, Oxford and Solihull to its portfolio, they also launched a new Co-working concept for stylists to enjoy a better work-life balance.
Though The Blushes Collective as a brand is new to Tetbury, the location itself was previously known as Creative Hairdressing, a salon with a successful history in the area spanning almost 40 years in business.
If you’re already a client of previous Creative Hairdressing, you’re probably thinking - what’s going to change and what can I expect, and who are The Blushes Collective?
Well, let us fill you in.
A little about The Blushes Collective
Blushes has amassed an incredible reputation over the 35+ years in the hairdressing business, with clients still visiting the founder today who’ve been loyal to him since day one. In 2017 the Blushes reins were passed over to Dominic Blake, who is now Managing Director of the portfolio. In 2021 Blushes Hair & Beauty was reborn as The Blushes Collective, and in 5 years we’ve grown from 1 successful salon in Montpellier, Cheltenham to 7, with Tetbury being our newest addition.
In the past couple of years we’ve opened salons in Nailsworth and Cirencester, just a stone’s throw from Tetbury and felt it was a natural progression to open another salon in a beautiful Cotswold location, and just like our Cirencester Blushes - in the heart of the old market place.
What have we already put in place?
The space prior to becoming Blushes Tetbury has been an extremely successful salon - Creative Hairdressing with a longstanding history and an incredibly loyal clientele.
We intend to bring a new and contemporary vibe to the salon, with many exciting things in store; including an interior refit, sympathetic to its location and paying homage to its longstanding roots.
We’ve brought in some of our original Blushes crew, who will drive the growth of the salon and support brand consistency, upholding the #blushesfeeling.
If you haven’t already, you’ll be meeting Lyndon and Gary very soon! Lyndon is Blushes through and through, having been with us for nearly 10 years and the early stages of his career. He’ll be there to ensure both the team and clients are looked after in every way, as well as being an incredibly experienced Stylist.
Gary, where do we start? He’s a character in the best way, as soon as you meet him you’ll immediately be put as ease in his chair. His wealth of knowledge is vast, having begun his career in London with Michael John, he’s a Partner of our Cirencester salon and now splits his time between the two.
Raphael joins the dynamic duo as a hairdressing powerhouse, having trained with Nicky Clarke and worked under him for many years, he moved to Daniel Galvin Jr back in 2018, working closely with him to develop his passion for colouring. Fast forward to 2022 where Raphael has relocated to the Cotswolds and joined the Blushes Tetbury crew, bringing West-end flair to the salon and all the knowledge of trends and techniques for our clients to enjoy!
