In the Press: Hairdressers Journal

A huge thank you to the Hairdressers Journal for featuring us this week for the launch of The Blushes Collective and our all new, 6 month Training Academy. Our industry-changing training programme makes a career in hairdressing accessible to people of all ages and circumstances.

Another revelatory change that came with the Blushes Collective was the introduction of our multi-employment model, which felt reflective of the post-Covid employment landscape, allowing current and future stylists both the freedom and flexibility to design their own career and working schedule.

In addition to their training scheme, The Blushes Collective also offer hairdressers and beauty therapists to be either employed or self-employed, all under one roof. Meaning team members can explore multi-employment options.

Hairdressers Journal

Hairdressers Journal are on the edge of the cutting edge and we are extremely grateful to be featured on their website. Our growing portfolio of salons aims to change the way we think, work and experience hair starting with flipping the script on industry norms and creating a contemporary working culture for hair stylists.

After a year of reflection, our move to refresh the brand came with exciting new developments including creating lifestyles spaces where people come to flourish, our teams and clients both in equal measure- and within that creating an environment where both employed and self-employed stylists can coexist, increasing the flexibility for our people.

The brand has a renewed focus on curating environments for top client experiences, as well as a place for hairdressers to establish and develop their careers. This new direction brings their customers and their team to the forefront of their innovation.

With a renewed focus on our core purpose, we wanted our brand refresh to represent more than cosmetic changes but to be reflective of time spent developing the ways we can create a more flexible working environment for our team, and future stylists that join the Blushes team.

If you’ve got personality in spades, creative energy and bags of enthusiasm then get in touch, whether that’s for a stylist position or you’re interested in joining our academy, drop us a line.
