Four Salons Becomes Five: Blushes Oxford Opening in Spring 2021
Set to open its doors in Spring 2021, four salons become five as Blushes Hair & Beauty announces Oxford as the latest addition to its growing portfolio of salons.
Nestled in the heart of North Oxford, our new home will be situated on Little Clarendon Street, hailed in the 60’s as an eclectic location due to it’s selection of bohemian shops and charming architecture.

At the forefront, Blushes core purpose is to create dynamic environments where people come to flourish. Our main focus is enhancing the experience for both clients and the team which led to the interior design decisions we made for our new salon.
The space is being transformed by Designer Lindsey Higgins - who also styled our Cirencester salon for it’s launch in 2020 - following a Scandinese or Japandi aesthetic, focusing on form, function and simplicity seeing the natural world reflected in the space.
The fusion between Japanese and Scandinavian design creates perfect harmony, the sentiment behind both cultures’ stylistic choices will come together to create an uplifting atmosphere for our community to enjoy.
The design process was heavily inspired by the diversity and world view offered by the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, and in particular a painting called “Waterfall in a high mountain” by Gu Tao. The painting will feature as a mural in the salon, creating the perfect backdrop to provide clients some escapism, a tranquil place to take some time for themselves to relax.
The space - which was previously a hair and beauty salon - with 15 seats, will see the existing team of experienced stylists remain in house. If you’re interested in joining our team, we’d love to hear from you.
With plans to launch April 12th, the new salon will offer both hair and beauty services to the Oxfordshire clientele. We look forward to welcoming you and bringing the #blushesfeeling to a new city.
