In the Awards: 2021 Fellowship Awards Finalist
This year marks the 75th anniversary of The Fellowship for British Hairdressing and we’re absolutely thrilled that we’ve been selected as a finalist for their annual Business Salon Awards, as Salon Group of the Year.
In it’s inception in 1946, The Fellowship was created as an arena for British Hair Artists to showcase their work and to connect as a community with like-minded people and it’s traditions and values are still seen to this day. To celebrate the 75th Anniversary the Fellowship will be creating a coffee-table book looking back at the past at the trends and industry figures that have helped shape the future.

As an organisation we are dedicated to offering creativity and opportunity to all – regardless of experience, job title or qualifications. We have set the standards over the past 75 years and will continue to do so for 75 more years, and already we have some exciting plans in the pipeline.”

On the back of what has been a particularly challenging couple of years for the industry as a whole we’re humbled to have been selected as one of three finalists for this awards category.
The Fellowships ethos challenges us every day to do better, to elevate and educate others, lifting their careers to new heights. With our renewed focus on offering our people the flexibility to design their own careers, giving power to them to be able to ask us for what they want and what they need closely aligns with The Fellowships standing within the industry, serving as a constant reminder that it is our job to empower others.
